Company History

Since 1984, Murtagh Bros. Stucco, Inc. has competed hundreds of residential and commercial jobs, building a reputation for prompt, thorough, and beautiful work. The key to this success is owner Paul Murtagh’s passion for his craft. Paul’s signature is strongly apparent in every project, and his work always shows the crispest lines and most consistent finishes.

Paul Murtagh Biography

Paul Murtagh was born in Ireland, a country with a strong heritage for crafting exquisite stucco architecture. After graduating from high school, Paul served a four year apprenticeship in one of Ireland’s foremost construction trade schools. There Paul learned the traditional method of applying stucco, and developed an understanding of the craft that few outside of Ireland have.

Paul moved to the United States in the early 1980’s, settling in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Paul started Murtagh Bros. Stucco, Inc in 1984, and over the next 20 years, practiced and mastered all forms and styles of stucco and Dryvit® applications.

Today Paul is noted for his blending of traditional and modern techniques, as well as his strong eye for color, texture and detail.

Our Philosophy

We believe in a job done right, on time and on budget. These simple rules have guided Murtagh Bros. for nearly two decades, and have helped us become a leader in the stucco business. Whether it is new construction or the beautification of your existing home, we will create a stucco finish to suit your specific taste and budget. Murtagh also specializes in acrylic-Dryvit® finishes as well as superior stucco trim and impressive architectural detail.

Certification & Membership

Our Company is a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI), and Delaware Chapter of the Chamber of Commerce. Paul and our employees attend seminars to keep current in the latest education and building trends.

Murtagh Bros. Stucco holds certificates in application of:

• Dryvit® Systems Inc. Residential and Commercial MD Systems
• As well as other exterior systems by Penn Crete and Pre-Blend, and PAREX.

Being a certified applicator means those employees of Murtagh Bros. Stucco Inc. adhere to most current and strict industry and manufacture standards when applying these products.
